Measurements of the Standard Stockman's Breastplate. This comes in light brown or dark brown, with brass fittings, or solid black with nickle or stainless fittings. The standard size fits most horses, but there is a Pony size, a Cob size and an Extra-full size. Note that the horse shoe D at the bottom is not stitched. The leather looping over the shank of the D is held in place with a keeper. The reason for this is to make it more easy to service this D years down the road, when it has frozen or been damaged with mud and water, etc, because it is closest to the ground!. Cost $99
The bottom of the breastplate has a snap that is not stitched, it is held in place by a sliding leather keeper - so it can be replaced without undoing and replacing stitching.

The traditional Halter Bridle from the Australian bush. It has been around for a couple of hundred years, ever since the delicate, traditional Crown-issued English bridles snapped under rugged use. The bit is attached either using the snap, for quickness, or the short buckle and strap, which takes longer, but there is less rattle of a metal snap on a metal ring! (If you are moving cattle at night that you don't own, being quiet is a good idea!)
