Measurements of the Standard Stockman's Breastplate. This comes in light brown or dark brown, with brass fittings, or solid black with nickle or stainless fittings. The standard size fits most horses, but there is a Pony size, a Cob size and an Extra-full size. Note that the horse shoe D at the bottom is not stitched. The traditional Halter Bridle from the Australian bush. It has been around for a couple of hundred years, ever since the delicate, traditional Crown-issued English bridles snapped under rugged use. The bit is attached either using the snap, for quickness, or the short buckle and strap, which takes longer, but there is less rattle of a metal snap on a metal ring!  (If you are moving cattle at night that you don't own, being quiet is a good idea!)

The Barcoo Bridle is actually an English-style headstall, but made with tougher leather for rugged use in the bush -- or on American trails! The life of this piece of equipment, if kept oiled, is about 20 years! Price with reins, $129
