CAMPDRAFT LEATHERS are a long Australian tradition. The outside of the leather is 2” wide, and the backside is 1 3/8” This difference in width prevents pinching common to English leathers. The buckle end is passed under the shank of any stirrup, the billet point is passed through the buckle so the point of the leather goes between the outside and the inside, passing through a slot in most Australian stirrups, or an English stirrup. CAMPDRAFT LEATHERS can be hung from the stirrup bar of English saddles, or passed through the slot in the tree of Western saddles..
