For a high withered horse a cut-out gullet is a good choice to relieve pressure. For a horse that has developed a “hunter’s bump” in the pelvic spine the same can be cut in the back of the pad, so that there is an opening over the sensitive area. Add $50 to the cost of the pad of your choice.
