LEATHER TOP LEGGINGS are made from oilskin, which is waterproof and very tough stuff. Cool in summer, and warm in winter. They are lined with fleece, and the tops are solid leather, for both style and comfort. They stay in place on the leg, because of Velcro closures, and buckles at top and bottom. Elastic goes under the boot arch to keep the legging down. There are leather wear patches on the inside of the leg. Reports Dr Wagner: ”They are the most comfortable covering I have ever put on my leg for riding. They give great protection galloping through rough country. And they are light enough to walk around in while you are doing chores.”
