Colin Dangaard takes German horsewoman Karin Finnel on a ride through the Santa Monica Mountains. She has been living in Arizona, and was on her way back home to Germany, when she stopped for two nights in Riders' Rest with her daughter McKay. "The mountains are different to anything I have experienced," she said. "I am so glad we did this.

And it was beautiful, sleeping in quarters where I could sit on the balcony and look at my horse." Karin was returning to Germany with a 14.2hh mustang. In the mountains, she cantered her new horse for the first time. "Such an amazing experience," she said.
