Hello Colin,

I wanted to send you some real feedback on your saddles and how they have worked for my type of riding throughout the years. As you can guess, I ride exclusively in steep, rugged terrain. My rides can be dangerous and long. Simply stated, the Western and English saddles I’ve tested do not compare to the overall comfort, safety and usefulness of yours. 

  Here are my reasons;

·      The saddles are light weight, strong and have many rig points. They are fitted exactly to my horse’s back for maximum comfort and can be refitted if I change horses. The highest dollar saddle manufactured cannot compare to having a saddle fitted because it’s still a general fit. 

·      Western Rigging - The main girth/tackaberry rig system is strong, non-bulky, doesn’t loosen and is quickly detachable. The rear girth attachment points provide more security and stability. 

·      Although not a true roping horn, it is strong enough for trail riding chores of pulling small trees off the trail. The horn also sets forward away from the chest allowing for riding under objects. 

·      The poleys keep me secure going down steep inclines or when my horse cuts loose on an all-out run. Never have to worry making sharp turns at full throttle.

·      The high cantle keeps me secure while climbing and quick forward thrusts. It’s also comfortable on long rides. 

·      The riding position is the “Dressage Position.” Unlike the painful western seat which puts the knees, hips and ankles inline. The Dressage position was the true seat for battle in ancient days and for good reason. It’s comfortable, safer, secure, and gives the rider more ability. 

·      The stirrups are comfortable. They are made for safety and will not trap the foot. 

·      Last, the seat is soft and slick. I can literally ride all day long in the padded, web-strung seat and do it again the next day. 

Thanks for the saddles, they are the best for my style of riding.
