Mr. Williams and Charlie

We can’t say enough about our saddle.

Charlie is one big hombre, 90 inches around, a Sugarbush Harlequin Draft. We had had saddle trees ‘fitted’ before we bought saddles for him, and they just were never right. The saddles always rolled and we were constantly recentering as we rode along. I bought a saddle from you several years before that fit like a glove on Kenai, my QH. When you saw the pictures of Charlie, our draft with no withers, you told us you could make a saddle fit him but we needed to use centerfire Y rigging. I’d had a saddle in the past with the centerfire rigging and was familiar with it, so we gave you the go-ahead.

This new saddle is our every dream for the Big Man on Campus. Both my husband and I were able to mount without using a block or without using someone holding down on the other stirrup as a counter-balance while we climbed onboard. The saddle didn’t move. THAT is a FIRST for Charlie. The Tackaberry was on my other saddle and I knew I didn’t want to go any other way on this new saddle. It’s the best of the best. Anyone who doesn’t know what it is is missing out.
